I've never seen the show, but it sounds to me like they got new producers. Or maybe just additional producers. I have to admit that the host appears to be of an exceptionally perky disposition that I'm not sure I'd like to begin with. I read something about her book [?] or something recently and it said something about her being a renowned Knitwear Designer. I thought she was just the host of a knitting show, I've never seen one of her Designs of Renown; you'd think I'd have run across some of them. I'm going to go around calling myself a Renowned Knit Blogger. Now I just need something to sell....

Your lame-ass non-buyers suck. I hope whoever is looking at *their* house farts on their pillows.

Other people venting gives me vicarious pleasure. You so put into words my feelings on the blog/book authors. I get so irritated with the people that want to be my friend because I design, and I am not even well known! Go Away! Play with your needles! I don't have television, so I can't commiserate with you on the Knitty Gritty thing.
The people looking at your home were RUDE! How dare they look into things that were obviously private. And to break things and mess up your HOME! To them it was just a house. I could go on and on, but you said it already and so much better!

I watched my first every complete (except for fast forwarding through all the non-show crap)Knitty Gritty today - and only then because it was Scout (who did a great job, btw.) And I thought it was just my satellite messing up again - what the hell is with the herky-jerky look? I have to say, Scout's was the first KG I've seen that actually had something good to show. And bummer on the lookers. What people do to your house when they are looking is always amazing. You are lucky they didn't break more stuff. Sorry you didn't get an offer, though. You don't want jerks like that buying your house anyway! Better luck next time.

You made me laugh, even though nothing was funny. "I hate people" is almost a mantra in our house.
What the hell did the realtor do? Go out for a smoke and leave them to it?!? Isn't he/she supposed to watch them, show them around and prevent them from screwing things up?

I'm so sorry the offer didn't come through - especially after they trashed the house! I get tired of people, too. Let's all start a knitting commune somewhere warm. :)

I agree with the others.. people sort of suck.
As for Knitty Gritty- I don't think I've ever watched an entire episode. I'm not a tv watcher and don't have Tivo, so I usually am busy when the show is aired. I pop it on sometimes to see people who's blogs I read.. hear their accents, see their mannerisms and then shut it off before the host talks too much. I personally don't need to be spoon-fed information with a liberal coating of sugar.. I start to wonder if this show wasn't marketed for 'tweens' instead of adult knitters!

Most people (present company excepted :) of course) are assholes. Sorry you had them in your house, messing with your stuff. :(

I wasn't too impressed by the episodes of Knitty Gritty that I saw. It was neat getting to see some of the folks I only usually read about, but when you say that, you've pretty much said it all.

I sat there yesterday going through the episodes I had on TiVo, going WTF? The quality is horrible! And that "oh, that makes sense" stuff? HUH? Things that should have been clarified were overlooked, ugh. But, the Yarn Harlot is on the 12th. Gotta see that one.

Sorry about the house jerks. That really blows.
