Do you ever get tired of cooking the same old boring things all the time? I thought I’d share some of the recipes I’ve recently tried, and liked. Feel free to share any of your favorites.
Chicken with Tomatoes & Artichokes
Cheese Stuffed Meat Loaf w/ Parsely Potatoes
Stuffed Tomatoes, Stuffed Zucchini, Stuffed Apples (I cut the tomatoes in half instead of stuffing them whole. Haven’t tried the apples yet.)
Two of these recipes involve artichokes, a food I’m not particularly fond of. However, I like them in these recipes. The point being, even if you think you don’t like something, try it anyway. (Unless it’s a black olive, then you can flick those little bad boys right off your plate.)
I’ve obviously had too much time on my hands the last couple of days because I’m posting about anything and everything. Poor Beth has been subjected to my Chatty Cathy-ness in email and because I want to spare her for once I’m so generous, I decided to share with not just one victim person, but all of you. You might want to avoid the blog until after the 26th, at which point I will be very busy, and most likely without internet.

Yum! I will definitely try some of these recipes. Did you use the mahi that the fish taco recipe calls for? I think I might try tilapia instead, but I’m wondering if it will fall apart too easily.

I try foods I don’t like periodically just in case I find I’ve changed my mind about them. The most recent discovery was that fresh brussel sprouts cooked with nutmeg are actually fit to be consumed by rational adults. Who knew???
