You are so creative in your solutions Mrs. Marple! LOL
That yarn bouquet is the best. What a beautiful way to gift yarn. Maybe you should find a really cute vase and store it there until it is time to knit with it.

Call and ask to talk to your carrier. Not a supervisor, the carrier-and do it early in the morning. Explain what is happening. They can't fix it if they don't know about it. If it's her sub, she'll get the message across to him or her and if it was a simple mistake on her part, she'll be more careful. If, however, it's someone stealing things, she really needs to know because she won't be able to leave things on doorsteps there any longer. Admittedly, the cluster boxes are a PITA to cope with, I'm lucky not to have many of them on my main routes, but sometimes creating a little awareness between the customer and the carrier will work miracles.

Heh. I would totally do something like that if my mail was going missing. I HATE not knowing what happens to stuff like that.

Too bad you can't put a hidden trail cam (motion activated camera) there by the mailboxes.

I still (not so) secretly hope that the person who ate your TimTams choked on them a little..
I have had some of the worst mail delivery (or not as the case may be) stories ever from some of the places we rented over the years. Communal mailboxes are the absolute worst though.. I'd still love to find the person who stole every issue of a 1 year subscription to Elle Decor during one of our apartment dwelling periods.

That was a pretty smart plan. You just never know - maybe you'll figure it out one of these days. Maybe it was a fill-in postal employee that delivered the first package.

The floral bouquet is very pretty and very clever!
