Another sale

May 20th, 2006 by Restless Knitter

I’ve gotta stop reading other Atlanta area knitting blogs.  The Purly Gates is going to reopen on Monday, and there will be a sale.  (I should REALLY resist the temptation to go over there since I still haven’t made a dent in the stash.)  AmyDe will be giving more info on her blog later tonight.  For someone who doesn’t like driving out of her own little comfort zone, I seem to be willing to drive when I see the words Sale and Yarn in the same general area.

Really, I just posted this so Jane would have more yarn to pack :)

I have not been to a single one of those northwest shops. I really gotta get out there some day. I didn’t know they’d had a flood! That stinks.

Oh, one other thing: I borrowed a friend’s tabletop loom for a weaving demo at Stone Mountain tomorrow. I put my first warp on a loom in probably about 10 years. I mostly remembered what to do!

Arrgggggghhh!! You did NOT type the word SALE!! Ok, I promise I’m going to ignore this one, but only because I had two packages with yarn show up in my mailbox today, and two more are expected. Hey, it looks like I’m going to have a lot more space in the new house for yarn storage than I thought - maybe I WILL go to the sale. Thanks! hee hee

    Hi there : )

Thanks for your comment over at my blog.. I’m toying with the idea of lace.. but I think it might still be a while before I try it..

That shop seems really cute.. now I know where to go if I ever visit my cousins in Atlanta >: )

So you’re the one who got my lace!!! just kidding.

Strings and Strands is moving just up the road on Roswell. The owner is very excited about it. She’s also having an amazing sale. I did quite well; the husband will cringe when he sees the statement, though.
