Better late than never
I had this boring post all written up about what a goober I am and how I missed everyone at WWKIP at the park but while writing it, I decided to go back. I was late but I enjoyed the time that I was there. I got to meet a few people, some that I’ve “known” for years, some that I’ve only recently come across their blogs. Y’know, not a single one of them bit me. Husband asks me why it makes me so nervous to go to things like that and I just can’t give him a good answer, other than “they might bite”. And I got a very tasty recipe out of the deal.
I started another baby sweater. It calls for Cascade 200, which I do have in the stash but the only color I have enough of is black so that was out. I had enough Wool-Ease and I thought it was dark enough that a girl or boy could wear it. Now I’m not so sure, but there’s no turning back now. This is the Seeds & Vines Cardigan from the Cozy Knits for Cuddly Babies book.

That color is so hard to get a true picture of. One is too pink, the other is too dark.
I don’t do the meme’s that float around, but I found this at Peace & Sereknitty and thought I was up for the challenge.
5 things I like about myself.
1. I like the color of my eyes
2. I’m a positive thinker. (Hard to believe with all the bitching that I do
)
3. I have a nice voice
4. When I’m working, I’m good at what I do
5. I try to think logically for the most part. Sometimes I have a brain fart but who doesn’t once in awhile.
That was harder than I thought it would be. I’m not into the tagging thing but if you feel so inclined, “toot your own horn”. It’s good to feel good about yourself.

Wish I could have come knit with everyone today. Hope you’ll come to the Wednesday knitting group at the Five Forks library soon!

I was spinning at Stone Mountain, or I’d've been there at the WWKIP gathering.
