When we moved into this house, they didn't take it down. Instead, they stripped it along the seams, mudded those, and painted. A lot less work, especially since the wallpaper had already been painted over. In our first house, the idiots stuck some of it up with Elmer's glue! Talk about a mess. Good luck with your bathroom project - post photos! Wallpaper is the worst thing ever. When we moved into this house, they didn’t take it down. I took some down in my powder room and tried to paint. You could still see flaws from the wallpaper, so I ended up papering again. At the time I wasn't all that good at patching and sanding walls.
