The End Is Near
Slowly but surely (clicky for bigger, as always.)

I’ve started the border (top left needle). I’m soooo tempted to just stick a couple of rows of garter on the ends and call it done. But I won’t.
Oh, and see that little bit of white on the floor in the top middle-left? Not the very top, that’s a glare. Just to the right and below of that. That’s where I was coming down the stairs with different things, including a paint brush that had primer on it. It jumped out of the pile of crap I was carrying and smacked the floor. Nice. Something else to clean up.
Speaking of the bathroom, she’s all primed. See?

See all the dust covering the handles and faucet in the tub? Sure you do. That white hose coming down from the shower head is a sprayer used for giving the dog a bath. When I was taking pictures this morning, I noticed a spot that could probably use a little sanding. Will the anal me sand it, or will the sick-of-this-project me paint over it and hope no one notices?
I swore I wouldn’t start anything else until the stole was done. Maybe that was a little fib. I had no intentions of starting another project. I’ve told myself since this is so small, it doesn’t count.
This is a baby bib, or will be. It has a motif. It looks like crap. It looks even worse when the flash isn’t used.

I suck at intarsia. I’ve only played around with intarsia before, never really trying to actually do it, if that makes any sense. Maybe a better way of saying it is I’ve tried to do it but never actually completed a motif because I realized I’m not good at it. Still, the end is near on this too so I will finish it, then throw it in with the next load of laundry and see if it doesn’t look better.

Yea for the bathroom and stole progress! Everything’s looking great! And the bib looks good, too. When I saw it, I thought “What a cute sailboat. That looks nice.” It doesn’t look crappy! And remember, it will have drool and food on it pretty soon.
