There’s only one way to learn
Saturday, April 22nd, 2006There’s only one way to learn and apparently for me, it’s the hard way. I totally screwed up the blog. It’s a long story and I won’t bore you with many details, but I will say.. Don’t change permissions on your content folder and then panic because you can’t access anything through WordPress, then delete folders accidentally, then try to uninstall and reinstall WP because at this point you have nothing to lose, because you really do have something to lose. Then you’ll yell things like fuckity fuck fuck fuck and son of a bitch and dammit. You will swear off using ftp, installing themes, and installing plugins because you were a dumbass and did a bunch of things at once and you weren’t sure just exactly what caused the problem to begin with. After you reinstall WP and hose it up again, you’ll learn to do one thing at a time and figure out just what you did to screw it up. So yeah, I learned my lesson but it was painful.
There is good news though. On Monday evening, I placed the order for the yarn for the Heirloom Lace Jacket. It came in the mail today! All the way from Australia. People, it’s taken longer to get stuff I’ve ordered from the US. Maybe the reason it came so fast was because of this
