Bargain shopping continued

In all my loom excitement, there were a couple of things that I forgot about.
Donna, this one is for you

I got some other bargains before I found the loom (which I got at Bargain City Thrift store..JEN). If you have a Hobby Lobby nearby, you might want to check out their clearance section. I got these 4 patterns

Can you see the prices? Here’s a closer look

It’s not that I really want to make any of them, but how could I pass those prices up?

Want to hear about one more? Pretty much everyone that I’ve talked to suggested I get the book Learning to Weave by Deborah Chandler. I checked online at Borders and saw that they had one in stock at a nearby store. When I got to the store, I couldn’t find it so finally asked for help. The lady helping me said they’d just taken some of those books off the shelves since they were old but they hadn’t mailed them back yet. It turns out that she is a weaver. She urged me to take classes instead of trying to learn by the book, which just isn’t an option since they start near the end of January. Anyway, I had (notice the past tense there) $16.74 in Borders Rewards to spend and I had a 25% off coupon. I ended up paying $2.09 for the book.
Overall, this has been a decent week for getting a few bargains. But we all know that I’m going to pay for it.

So Jen, did you get that? Hobby Lobby. Borders. Bargain City Thrift (kind of like a Goodwill)
