When they say to put the pizza directly on the oven rack, they mean it. I tried cheating. I didn’t want anything to get all over the clean oven, so I put foil on the rack. I ended up having to remove the foil because the pizza didn’t want to finish cooking. It was a floppy mess, and tomatoes still found their way off the pizza into the bottom of the oven. Lovely smell. Hope someone wants to see the house while that stench is still hanging in the air, I’d hate for anyone to miss it.
In other exciting news, the dog’s nose is turning pink. It was pure black until recently.
The Man: Have you noticed that her nose isn’t all black now?
Restless Knitter: Yes. She licks so much that she probably licked the black right off of it.
TM: I’m serious. I’m worried about this. Go get a black marker.
RK: Uh, okay, because if it is because she’s sick or because she licks so much, coloring it with a black marker is going to make it all better. Dork.
When we went to the vet for her vaccinations, I asked about it and the vet didn’t seem worried since she doesn’t have any other strange symptoms.
